When I first started this podcast, my goal was simple make finance less intimidating and more empowering. I wanted to help everyday people students, professionals, business owners build confidence with money and check this out. When I first launched this podcast, it was really just a passion project and I wanted to put a few episodes out there about how to read an income statement, a balance sheet, a statement of cash flows just to help people. And when I first launched it, I didn't tell anybody about it, I didn't promote it early and I think I got like two downloads my mom and my sister. I had no clue it would grow into what it is today. I mean it's crazy. And here's the thing that means so much to me. You showed up week after week, over a million downloads, messages around the globe, stories of transformation, both personal and professional. All this means the world to me. I can't tell you how much I love it when I get a LinkedIn private message from you. So so many of you connect with me on LinkedIn. You DM me and you tell me your story, you tell me your challenges. You open up in a vulnerable way and it just like it's so touching and it's so inspiring and I love those messages. So keep sending the messages. You could always message me on LinkedIn. I love those. I love to hear from you. So it's been humbling, energizing and, honestly, it's been really life-changing. But as all things evolve, so has my focus. These past few years, my work at ColdFar has taken me deeper, into a very specific mission, which is helping founders and CEOs build businesses that scale and sell. That's where I'm spending my energy now, not because I'm burnt out, not because I'm stepping away, but because I've hit the finish line. I set for the show and I'm ready to build what's next.
